Lemon Meringue Pie

I like this pie.

  • 1 box. lemon pudding, plus ingredients for normal preparation (follow box instructions)
  • 1 baked pie crust
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Prepare lemon pudding and pour into pie crust. Prepare meringue: beat egg whites and cream of tartar; beat in sugar until stiff; add vanilla. Swirl on top of pie and bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees until tips are brown.
